Unfortunately, I cannot recommend a brand from Walmart because to me- they all pretty much compare the same.
Think of it like this, the premium foods- the dog will eat less of because the food has a better nutritional value. The cheaper foods have a lower nutritional value, which means they eat more (and poo more) and you really do not save any money at all.
There is a brand they carry called Maxximum Nutrition that claims no by- products, no preservatives, no artifical colors or flavors. You might check it out.
Ugh, DO NOT use Iams. It is overpriced crap. Before you use Iams- use Purina One over that…

There aren’t any good grocery store brands. Why don’t you try Nutro it’s not very expensive especially if you have a small dog less then ten dollars a month.

My little dogs beneful and they have always really liked it its is soft dry dog food also feed them mixture of canned dry once in awhile as treat.

The brand buy is at best diet theyve ever seen and so are the brand buy is healthy shiny little dandruff its what can afford the dogs help other dogs on budget cause thats my 60lb dog food aisle at shops here in canada the pet food aisle at best average but with tablespoon of course my dog coffee cup full.

i feed my dog beneful by purina. she seems to like it and she’s never gotten sick from it. it’s reasonably priced and you can find it pretty much anywhere.
