Where can I find Vegan Food?

Rita C asked:

I live in Mississippi and we are like the most unhealthy people on the planet! We have barley any health stores to buy organic or soy foods. I’m new at being a Vegan and it’s super hard when everything around you is fried chicken and full of milk. Are there any places like maybe Target or Walmart that sell food for Vegans. If so, which products?

Also should I stop eating meat? I hear there is a lot of stuff that goes into it. But then are fish and eggs still okay to eat? I drink protein shakes too btw, so I’m not so much worried about protein, just the lack of vitamins.

What are some tips for eating Organic on a Budget?

Posted on timeNovember 15th, 2009 by userpcgumban    flag(6) Comments

[][][][] asked:

I don’t trust genetically modified food or any other foods not marked organic anymore. So, I decided that I will go on an organic diet, but since GMOs make up 90% of our foods, organics have less market share and are more expensive. So what are some tips for eating Organic, on a Budget?

My weekly budget is around $80 to $150. I can’t plant anything as I don’t have a yard.

Thanks, any help is greatly appreciated. :-)

I’m looking for a website with meatless recipes for picky eaters?

MyssMarie asked:

Our family has 8 people – many are children. I am trying to ’slowly’ convert them over to more meatless recipes and organic foods, but my smallest ones are SOOO picky. I need more kid-approved recipes and all of the ones I’ve seen online contain tons of beans, zucchini, eggplant and the such – my 6 year old and 3 year old won’t have a thing to do with those! HELP!

BNM asked:

I read Skinny ***** and now I want to eat vegan and organic. But it is so expensive. I went to the websites that they give in their book and there is no freaking way I can afford this. And there is no health food stores around where I live so I am gonna have to buy all my food from Walmart or Kroger. And I am buying food for a family of 3.

I’m a vegetarian, and I try to eat organic as often as possible. I love the O Organics brand from Safeway, and some of the organic foods that Kashi has too.

If you eat a organic vegan diet?

Mountian_Baby asked:

where do you shop for you foods? I’ve seen some things at wal-mart and other stores, but my Dad has to go on an organic vegan diet, and they live in the middle fo nowhere. We are 80 miles from Wal-mart, K-mart, Smiths etc… So they will have to buy in bulk and can or freeze items.

Are there any good online sites where they can buy fresh or even just dry goods? Please share any and all tips and even a few recipes if you would like.

Thank you so much, all Good input is greatly appreciated.
Micheal O thanks for copying another answer almost exactly how original of you.
