Also should I stop eating meat? I hear there is a lot of stuff that goes into it. But then are fish and eggs still okay to eat? I drink protein shakes too btw, so I’m not so much worried about protein, just the lack of vitamins.

Organic eating?

I’ve decided to start eating organic as much as possible and also only eat seafood and pultry, no red meats. I’ve been thinking about this for a while, and over this past weekend I finally had my mom buy me some organic food at the grocery store. I was really surprised at them tasting almost exactly the same. So, I’ve decided to go organic. Anyway here’s my question… can you buy organic chicken and sea food (the stores I have around my house are Price Chopper and Hannaford… that’s about it). If not, I know I can get chicken from Natural Acres, but chicken alone will get boring.
If you’re going to tell me not to do it or just say yuck, shut up because I’m not interested in your opinion. You eat however you want, I’m sick of putting a whole punch of chemicals and things not necissary into my body. Not trying to have attitude, but seriously I’m not asking for opinions.

I would really like to buy organic foods in bulk. I know there are allot of stores that sell items in bulk, but not if they sell organic food items. Does anyone know if there is a store that specifically sells organic?

So, we usually feed our puppy raw. But as this is my last semester with finals coming up, I find that I don’t have as much time to make her meals for her.
When I can’t find the time, we feed her this great food she loves, called Nature’s Variety. We feed her the raw frozen line.
You can go onto the site at naturesvariety.com and use their store locator to find stores that carry their items.
However, the places listed on there near me only carry some of the varieties of the frozen raw – specifically only the organic chicken and the beef formula.
Does anyone know if any online sources sell the other varieties (rabbit, venison) that ship overnight (since it’s a frozen item?)
I’ve already checked with dogs.com and a bunch of other sites..

If so, what are the items you’ve tried? Do they really taste better, or is it just the thought that they are better? What are your thoughts on organic foods (benefits, likes, dislikes?) Do you believe that eating orgainc is smart for the environment, your body, and other factors?
Please give me examples of personal experiences. I need this information for a paper I’m writing. Thank you!

I recently adopted a lhasa apso/mini schnauzer/dachshund mix from the local shelter. They gave me a sample bag of Science Diet Small Bites, enough to last him a couple of weeks. From what I’ve read online, Science Diet is a horrible brand filled with fillers. I’m looking to replace his current diet with a higher quality, holistic and organic brand. What brand would be best? Thanks in advance!! ;]
